Toddler areas at indoor playgrounds

Updated October 20, 2026 · Written by the IndoorPlayMap team from venue-published information

Generic indoor playground

A separate toddler zone is the single biggest difference between a relaxing visit and an hour of shadowing your two-year-old through a big-kid maze. Here is how venues in our directory define theirs.

Published toddler zone limits

Hyper Kidz (Westchase, Dallas)"Mini Zone" for babies, crawlers and toddlers ages 0-2
Kids Empire (all locations)Toddler zone with mini slides and soft blocks, designed for ages 1-3

Venues built for little ones

Some venues are small enough that the whole space suits toddlers. Examples with published age ranges: Nana's Wonderland Little Neck (birth to 7), Dream City (6 months to 6 years), Tiny Town Playland (crawlers to 7) and Watermark Tree Fort in Dallas (ages 0-4, weekdays only).

Babies usually play free

Kids Empire and Hyper Kidz let children under 12 months in free with a paying sibling. Nana's Wonderland does the same for babies under 10 months.
